Iowa's farmers have their sights locked in on the conditions needed for a successful growing season and harvest; namely agreeable weather and commodity markets. On July 22, farmers can receive expert projections and ask questions about these factors by participating in a 7 p.m. webinar hosted by Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) and Iowa State University (ISU).

Elwynn Taylor, professor of ag meteorology at ISU, and Bob Young, American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) chief economist, will offer their insights and a chance for farmers to ask questions from the convenience of their home computers.

This webinar is free and open to all farmers. Prior to the event, participants should also test their computers to ensure they will have access to the program by logging in to http://www.extension.iastate.edu/testconnect.

The evening of the event, participants can access the webcast, without pre-registering, by logging in to http://connect.extension.iastate.edu/FarmBureau. After the event, a recording of the webinar will be available to all Iowa Farm Bureau members on www.iowafarmbureau.com.

This interactive web conference is the latest installment of IFBF's Margin Management Webinar Series, a series dedicated to providing farmers with practical information to benefit their bottom lines.
